| Instructions: I wanted the board to be three dimensional, colorful, with some hand-made items, and with Bible verses telling about God's greatest gift. For the manger, I used a placemat made of bamboo with tinsels as hay. The manger was then surrounded with gifts of different sizes and colors. Some of the gifts were made by one of my 8th grade students. A big Christmas stocking was also placed on one side of the board decorated with paper cut-outs printed with Bible verses about the three gifts: myrrh, frankincense, and gold. A 10th grade student made Christmas ornaments that have the pictures of the three gifts. |

| Instructions: Create an elf and a series of presents. Those in this picture have been laminated. Then write on the presents various tasks that students can do that relate to Christmas. This is a great bulletin board as it not only portrays Christmas items, it also engages students to think about the tasks written on each present. For example, one present reads "List as many Chrstmas songs as you can." This allows students to remember Christmas songs that they enjoy and it also excersizes their memory skills. |
